Hg’s Cynthia Hetherington will be attending and particpating in Cyberskills2Work’s National Cybersecurity Workforce Development Program Showcase in Washington, DC on Thursday, May 11th. The National Cybersecurity Workforce Development Program is a nationally scalable solution created to significantly expand the U.S. cybersecurity workforce. The Open Source Intelligence Academy (OSINT Academy), which provides comprehensive cyber intelligence instruction for the CyberSkills2Work program is a collaboration between Dakota State University, the National Security Agency’s National Center for Academic Excellence in Cybersecurity (NCAE-C) and Hg.

The May 11th event celebrates the achievements of the program since its 2020 founding with its cyber learners reflecting on their career success following the completion of their CS2W pathway. In addition, representatives from the CyberSkills2Work network of more than 40 employers (including many Fortune 500 companies) will be present along with partners offering insights on the benefits and future of the program. Legislators and various federal agencies will also be in attendance, as well as program leaders and faculty from the universities involved.
