Description
The advanced investigator needs search tools that go beyond Google. In OSINT investigations, six months can be an eternity. New apps, social media platforms, and search techniques crawl across the web at rapid speed. In Hg’s mid-year hitlist, we provide OSINT intermediate and advanced investigators with the best, the worst, and the mediocre online internet tools and techniques for conducting cyber investigations.
We will discuss how to track down older online material using recent tools. Upon completion of the course, field investigators will be able to conduct advanced Internet and social media searches for people, non-profits, and more utilizing the most-up-to-date OSINT resources; utilize online monitoring alert services, both free and fee-based; identify specialized, subject-specific search engines; and understand how to keep up with new search engines for investigations and research.
- Discover the best and the worst search techniques and resources of 2020 to date
- Identify and select the best online monitoring alert services, both free and fee-based, currently available
