On Friday, February 17, 2023, The National Association of Legal Investigators (NALI) will be hosting their 2023 Virtual Conference.

Hg’s President Cynthia hetherington will be conducting a session on Financial Open Source Intelligence (FinOSINT).

Financial Open-Source Intelligence (FINOSINT) Open-source intelligence is a well-covered area of expertise that involves the collection and analysis of data gathered from open sources. Building on these skills, attendees will focus on financial intelligence research practices. Finding data related to transactional information, crypto currency markets, and any opportunity to track down fraudulent operations through the surface to dark web will be discussed.

• Identify resources and tools used specific to online asset or financial due diligence investigations
• Identify marketplaces online that financial information may be in open sources
• Learn about the future of financial investigations
