Miranda Jackson, Senior Analyst
As a Senior Investigative Analyst, Ms. Jackson utilizes open source intelligence (OSINT) to conduct background investigations, legal and compliance investigations, due diligence, asset investigations, cyber investigations, and business intelligence. She maintains current understanding of hundreds of databases and leading industry software, including LexisNexis, Accurint, CLEAR, Factiva, and similar software platforms. Ms. Jackson oversees and reviews the work of junior analysts and assists with the development of new Hg services. She is a contributor to Hg’s training and educational services including FactSheets, blogs, and webinars.
Ms. Jackson has served in various capacities as a security professional for two decades. She specializes in employee compliance, new hire, due diligence investigations, and risk mitigation. Specifically, she offers Hg’s clients over a decade of experience primarily with background investigation analysis and fraud investigation. Most recently, she served as an IB Client Onboarding Specialist, where she conducted background checks and evaluated negative news related to existing clients and prospects. From 2012-2019, she served as a Background Investigation Specialist at Deloitte, where she supported Deloitte hiring teams by providing a security level review of background reports of new hire applicants. Responsibilities included analyzing and resolving discrepancies identified within applicants’ new hire background reports. Ms. Jackson holds a B.S. in Criminal Justice and Sociology from the University of North Alabama (2002).
