The Twin Cities of Certified Fraud Examiners will be hosting their second session for their summer double feature on July 12, 2023 via Zoom. Hg’s founder and CEO Cynthia Hetherington will be conducting a session on Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) Investigations from 9:30AM-11:30AM EDT.

Every investigation involves, at some level, social media, and open-source examinations. This class examines the different types of open source and social media platforms and the language of this unique investigative world.

During this 2-hour event, participants will learn skills required to complete open-source investigations including:

• Collection and analysis of data gathered from open sources including information on people, companies, and markets
• Intelligence research practices
• Best practices to track down fraud and increase success in cases
