The ACFE Middle Tennessee Chapter will be hosting the 2023 Nashville Fraud Conference from March 13-14, 2023 at the George Shinn Center at Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee.

Hg’s Director of Education & Knowledge Management Megan Munoz will be conducting a session on Financial OSINT (FinOSINT)  during Day 2 of the conference.

Financial Open-Source Intelligence (FINOSINT) Open-source intelligence is a well-covered area of expertise that involves the collection and analysis of data gathered from open sources. Building on these skills, attendees will focus on financial intelligence research practices. Finding data related to transactional information, crypto currency markets, and any opportunity to track down fraudulent operations through the surface to dark web will be discussed.

• Identify resources and tools used specific to online asset or financial due diligence investigations
• Identify marketplaces online that financial information may be in open sources
