The International Association of Financial Crimes Investigators CT Chapter will be hosting its 10th Annual Conference from May 3-4, 2023 at the Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Connecticut. This conference puts a spotlight on fraud.

Hg’s Director of Education and Knowledge Management Megan Munoz will be conducting a session on Social Media Investigations during Day 1 of the conference. This session will evaluate and review several free and fee-based resources on the market for locating unique information and monitoring social media. The focus of this session will be on popular platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, and Instagram, among others. Megan will review social media platforms, discuss how hashtags and images can play a role in a case, and provide guidance on where key information can be hidden or overlooked.
