Ms. Hetherington to discuss open source intelligence collection & analysis

(Wanaque, NJ) Cynthia Hetherington, founder and president of Hetherington Group (Hg), is a speaker at the Premier Southwestern Intelligence Event: Southern Arizona Intelligence Summit (SAIS) to be held April 7-9 on a virtual platform to protect against the spread of coronavirus. SAIS is hosted by the University of Arizona’s College of Science and Technology, where Ms. Hetherington serves as a Limited Term Adjunct Instructor/Professor of Practice.

The inaugural SAIS is geared for anyone working in, affiliated, or seeking a future in the field of cybersecurity or intelligence across government and private sectors. The exclusive line-up of speakers includes top military leaders such as Lieutenant General Stephen G. Fogarty, Commanding General of the U.S. Army Cyber Command, Major General Anthony Hale, Commander, USA, USAICOE & FT. Huachuca, and General Joseph L. Votel, USA (Ret.), President & CEO, BENS. SAIS will provide a look into the Future of Intelligence in both the government and civilian sectors. Day One focuses on the Intelligence field, Day Two focuses on Cyber and Information Warfare, and Day Three focuses on what senior decision makers will need from Intelligence, Cyber, and Information Operations professionals in the future. Each day will conclude with a Workforce Development Recruiting Panel where attendees will hear from government and commercial recruiters on their current workforce needs and how best to get recruited by them.
