This week, our Timely Tips provide a few international tools used to garner information on companies in over 200 countries, track hate groups, and track down persons in Sweden. Come on, it’s time to dig in.

Since its creation in 2008, Infoclipper has been a great source to gain intelligence on companies both domestically and internationally, with information on over 200 countries. Searching for a company through the search bar will result in several company profiles plus free information about that company such as an address and whether it is connected to any other companies. Available for purchase on a pay-as-you-go basis are credit reports, company profiles, financial statements, shareholders, parent companies, and subsidiary records.

The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) is a leading anti-hate organization, aiming to educate and bring awareness of hate groups and symbols seen throughout the world. Its  contains several resources and tools including a Resource Library, providing an overview of over 200 groups, as well as symbols most frequently used by hate groups and movements. In addition, it also has a Hate Crime Map showing hate crime laws per state, and a H.E.A.T. Map, and interactive and customizable map detailing extremist and anti-Semitic incidents around the nation. Check out this resource, if you need educating about possible risks or threats against sensitive clientele.

Over the years, Sweden has joined the rest of the European Union have made an effort to increase their personal data protection laws. However, residential address information in Sweden is still surprisingly easy to find through a simple Google search. Websites such as Mrkroll reveal information regarding names, residential address, date of birth, relatives, and even partial socials. Mrkoll has publishing certifications to share information obtained through the Swedish Tax Agency and Swedish Registrations Office. The information in these cases is not viewed as classified by the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Mrkoll is a go-to resource to locate any Swedish resident.
