The Midwest Counterdrug Training Center (MCTC) will be hosting a two-day training course on Open Source Investigations for Anti-Trafficking Operations from December 20th to 21st, 2022 at their training center in Johnston, IA.

Hg’s Director of Education and Knowledge Management Megan Munoz will be teaching this two-day course on Open Source Investigations for Anti-Trafficking Operations. The course is designed to instruct officers how to gather evidence and intelligence of illegal activity displayed or hidden on social media and other sites, and covers how to use open source tools to enhance anti-trafficking and investigative operations. These tools include but are not limited to websites and third party applications. Realistic hands-on practical exercises to represent real world activities will be included in efforts to apply effective classroom theory into practice.

This course is of no cost to attend, but registration is required, and is restricted to US military law enforcement personnel along with other local, state, and federal civilian law enforcement employees, including criminal analysts, and corrections officers. Register and learn more here.
